Return & Refund Policy
At Kern River Permaculture, we take great care in growing and preparing everything we offer. Because our products include fresh, perishable food and small-batch handmade goods, our return and refund policy reflects both food-safety standards and the realities of homestead production.
Fresh Produce & Perishable Items
Due to the perishable nature of fresh produce, all sales of fresh food items are final. For health and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on produce once it has left our care.
That said, your satisfaction matters to us. If you experience an issue with the quality of your produce at the time of pickup or delivery, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will review concerns thoughtfully and may offer a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion, depending on the situation.
Handmade & Non-Perishable Items
Handmade and non-perishable items crafted on our homestead are handled on a case-by-case basis.
If you have concerns about a handmade item, please reach out to us within 7 days of receipt. Items must be unused and in original condition to be considered for return or exchange. Because many of these items are small-batch and handcrafted, we reserve the right to assess each request individually.

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

Items damaged due to improper storage or handling after pickup/delivery
